Happy International Women’s Day!

I pondered for days over what this post would entail, only to become incredibly overwhelmed in the best possible way.

There are so many women I admire and respect—some I know personally, others I admire from afar. I wish I could name every single one of them, but today, I just want to say thank you.

Thank you to the women who paved the way before me. Thank you to the women who made sacrifices, some still unknown, for the betterment of all. Thank you to all the mothers who nurture and support us as if we were their own.

Thank you to the women who dared to challenge the system, regardless of the fate they met because of it. Thank you to the women who breathe life into those around them, despite the poison that was breathed onto them.

The undying support we, as women, have for each other, despite the obstacles we face, is nothing short of a testament to what we are truly capable of.

I am grateful and privileged to know where we came from, understand where we are, and look fondly toward what will come to be.
